An avid rock hound and eagle eye, Karens passion for crystals has rocked her entire family (literally). One of the primary business partners, Karen’s main role in Crystalworks is as artistic director and buyer.
Susan Lipsett
The matriarch of the family, and also primary business partner and head buyer for Crystalworks. Her astute eye for design often helps put the finishing touches on everything from the design of the moveable walls to the placement of pictures.
Andrea Lipsett
A crystal and mineral enthusiast, she specializes in rare inclusions in quartz and is a valued partner on every buying trip. Her role as reluctant (but capable) bookkeeper is only one of her many hats for the gallery as well as running an Event Design and Coordination company called Ambient Designs.
Dr. Morely Lipsett
An optical Physicist by training, he has been working with the optical and heat transference properties of quartz for over 40 years. He is a silent partner in the business and is responsible for encouraging and supporting the purchase of larger and larger crystals and minerals each year. His masculine esthetic helps to balance the girls feminine one. It is most common for men to purchase minerals that Morley has selected.
Finn Kidd
An applications specialist with a corporate IT Department, his background in computers, museum studies, conservation and art gallery preparatory has made him an indispensable resource. Finn is responsible for all custom crates, graphic design and signage as well as his most important role as web master.
Sharpie (Christopher Sharp)
A visual artist, his deep love of the natural world, his brute strength, artistic eye and ability to fix or make just about anything makes him an invaluable member of the Crystalworks family.
Ena Bendon
A writer, astrologist and crystal enthusiast, her keen zest for learning coupled with her open hearted approach to life makes her Crystalworks’ number one sales person.
Cheryl Davidson
A registered shiatsu practitioner and Reiki master, her astute understanding of energies, love of the crystals and minerals, and adept and soothing presence benefits the staff and clients alike.
Boodha Bear
Our resident Australian Labradoodle, his intuitive and loving presence makes him the favorite Crystalworks employee and family member.
